Before you start
- Contamination of components. Observe manufacturer's instructions.
Procedure
- Place valve bridges on valves in accordance with marking.
- Coat ball seat of pushrod with engine oil.
- Set piston to firing TDC with barring device.
- Loosen adjusting screw nuts and turn back screws.
- Place rocker shaft support on cylinder head.
- Coat threads and screw head mating face with engine oil.
- Install screw, tighten to specified torque.
- Adjust valve clearance per operating instructions.
