Before you start
- Spring/circlip preload. Only use specified tools.
- Components have sharp edges. Wear protective gloves.
Procedure
- Insert cylinder head in retaining device.
- Install valve lifter.
- Use valve lifter to press down valve-spring retainer.
- Remove valve collets with bar magnet.
- Remove retainer, washer and valve springs.
- Lay cylinder head on its side, remove valves.
- Remove gasket from valve guide with two screwdrivers.
- Unscrew protective sleeve and remove sealing ring.
