Before you start
- Components have sharp edges. Wear protective gloves.
- Heavy object. Use appropriate lifting devices.
Procedure
- Install crankcase in crankcase rotation device.
- Remove main bearing caps.
- Knock plug edge inward with drift and hammer.
- Withdraw plugs with pliers.
- Unscrew plug screws for main oil galleries.
- Remove sealing rings.
- Remove camshaft bearing bushes with extraction tool.
