Before you start

  • Engine is stopped and starting disabled

Procedure

  1. Engine stopped and starting disabled; withdraw oil dipstick and wipe.
  2. Insert dipstick into guide tube to the stop; withdraw after approx. 10 seconds.
  3. Oil level must be between min. and max. marks.
  4. Top up to max. mark if necessary.
  5. After engine stop: check 5 minutes after stopping the engine.
