Before you start
- If the shaft begins to helix (buckle) excessively, STOP vibrating and investigate — indicates an overload condition.
- Do not run the vibrator head in the air for longer than two minutes.
Procedure
- Insert the vibrator head into the concrete.
- Place the throttle lever in the DOWN (RABBIT) position for FAST engine operation.
- Insert the head vertically and move it in a pattern maintaining 50% radial overlap.
- Immerse the head for 5 to 10 seconds until air stops rising, then withdraw slowly.
- Keep the flexible shaft as straight as possible; do not bend it sharply.
