Procedure
- Start the trowel and run the engine about 1/4 to 1/3 of full speed.
- Grip the handle firmly and engage the clutch by squeezing the clutch lever.
- Adjust the clutch cable housing using the adjustment nut on the clutch lever.
- Backing the nut out of the lever housing increases engagement and squeeze force.
- Repeat the adjustment after initial break-in (approximately 8 hours).
- Replace the belt if adjustments no longer affect clutch engagement.
