Before you start
- NEVER stop the engine suddenly except in an emergency.
Procedure
- Place MAIN, GFCI and LOAD circuit breakers to OFF position.
- Place engine speed switch in LOW (down) position.
- Let engine cool by running at low speed 3-5 minutes with no load.
- Place MPEC Control Switch to OFF/RESET position.
- Verify all status LEDs on MPEC display are OFF.
- Remove all loads from generator.
- Inspect generator for damage or loosening of components.
