Before you start
- For bleeding the fuel filter, refer to "Bleeding the

- Do not use a filter wrench to install the fuel filter. Do
Procedure
- Prepare a oil pan (capacity of 2 liters or more)
- Open the drain cock of fuel tank and drain fuel at
- Make sure that water and particles of foreign mat-
- Clean the area around the fuel filters.
- Place a drip pan under the fuel filters.
- Using a filter wrench, remove the fuel filters.
- Wipe off fuel on the fuel filter cartridge mounting
- Check new fuel filters for proper seating of the gas-
- Apply clean fuel to the gasket on the new fuel filter.
- install the fuel filter.
- After installing the new fuel filter, bleed the fuel fil-
- Start the engine and let it idle for several minutes.
- Close the fuel supply valve to cut off the fuel sup-
- Place a container under the fuel filter to receive
- Remove the drain piug to discharge sediment from
- Reinstall the drain plug.
- Bleed air from the fuel system.
- Close the fuel supply valve to cut off the fuel sup-
- Place a container under the fuel filter to receive
- Remove the filter case.
- Bleed air from the fuel system.

- a filter wrench, remove the fuel filters
