Before you start

  • Do not remove the strainer when filling the fuel tank.
  • _

Procedure

  1. Prepare a oil pan (capacity of 2 liters or more)
  2. Open the drain cock of fuel tank and drain fuel at
  3. Make sure that water and foreign particles dis-
  4. Clean the area around the fuel filters.
  5. Place a drip pan under the fuel filters.
  6. Using a filter wrench, remove the fuet filters.
  7. Wipe off fuel on the fuel filter cartridge mounting
  8. Check new fuel filters for proper seating of the gas-
  9. Apply clean fuel to the gaskets on new fuel filters.
  10. Install fuel filters.

Tools required

  • a filter wrench, remove the fuet filters
