Before you start
- Hot oil and components can cause personal injury; do not allow hot oil to contact skin
- Do not remove the oil by suction whenever possible

Procedure
- After the engine has been stopped, remove the drain plug from the oil pan.
- Drain the engine oil while the oil is warm.
- Clean and install the drain plug.
- Remove the crankcase filler cap and fill with recommended oil.
- Start the engine and run at low idle several minutes; check for oil leaks.
- Stop engine, wait about 10 minutes, then check oil level with dipstick and add oil if necessary.
