Procedure
- Check deflection halfway between water pump pulley and alternator pulley.
- Loosen the alternator bracket bolt and the adjust plate bolt.
- Move the alternator in or out to obtain correct tension.
- Tighten the bolt securely.
- Check the belt for cracks and damage.

- Deflection 10~12 mm (3/8~1/2 in) under about 10 kg (22 lb) thumb pressure
