Procedure

  1. 1. ADJUSTMENT, Group 5.)
  2. Fuel Injection Pump Installation
  3. (a) Turn the crankshaft in normal
  4. direction to align No. 1°8 timing
  5. mark on the viscous damper with
  6. the pointer on the engine.
  7. (b) Make sure that the No. 1 cylinder.
  8. inlet and exhaust valve rocker arms
  9. are not being pushed up by their
  10. pushrods.

  12. (c) Turn the crankshaft in the reverse
  13. direction about 60° once, then
  14. slowly turn it in the normal
  15. direction until the timing mark on
