Before you start

  • NOTE: The special tool must be used to install the
  • NOTE: Install the rocker shaft springs before

Procedure

  1. 2. Fit the rocker shaft spring from the above and
  2. position it so that it is right angles the spark plug
  3. guide.
  4. NOTE: Install the rocker shaft springs before
  5. installation of the exhaust side rocker arms and
  6. shaft.
  7. 3. Remove the special tool used to hold the lash
  8. adjuster.
  9. 4. Make sure that the notch in the rocker shaft is
  10. directed as shown in the illustration.

  • 1. Set special tool valve spring compressor
  • 3. Remove the special tool used to hold the lash
