Before you start

  • NOTE: Use a torque wrench that can measure 0

Procedure

  1. 10. Install special tool Tension pulley socket
  2. wrench (800407), socket wrench and torque
  3. wrench, onto the tensioner pulley, and loosen the
  4. tensioner pulley center bolt.
  5. NOTE: Use a torque wrench that can measure 0
  6. to 5.0 N·m.
  7. 11. Torque to 2.5-2.6 N·m with the torque wrench.
  8. 12. Holding the tensioner pulley with special tool
  9. Tension pulley socket wrench (800407) and
  10. torque
  11. wrench
  12. tighten
  13. the
  14. center
  15. bolt
  16. to
  17. specification.
  18. Tightening torque: 48 ± 5 N·m
  19. 13. Rotate special tool Set screw (800425) until
  20. it contacts the tensioner arm. Slowly rotate Set
  21. screw until hole in auto tensioner push rod aligns
  22. with hole in auto tensioner body.

  • 11. Torque to 2.5-2.6 N·m with the torque wrench.
