Procedure

  1. 2. Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt to the
  2. specified torque.
  3. Tightening torque: 88 ± 10 N·m
  4. >>B<< SPACER INSTALLATION
  5. 1. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the lip
  6. area of the oil seal.
  7. 2. Install the spacer with the chamfered end facing
  8. toward the oil seal.
  9. >>C<<COUNTERBALANCE SHAFT SPROCKET
  10. 1. Install the counterbalance shaft sprocket and
  11. screw on the bolt.
  12. 2. Install special tool Sprocket stopper (800404) as
  13. shown in the illustration to lock the counterbalance
  14. shaft.
  15. 3. Tighten the bolt, and then remove the special
  16. tool.
  17. Tightening torque: 45 ± 3 N·m

  21. 1. Align timing marks on the crankshaft sprocket
  22. "B" a
  23. nd counterbalance shaft sprocket with the
  24. marks on the front case.
  25. 2. Install the timing belt "B" on the crankshaft

  • 6. With your index finger, press the midway of
  • 2. Install special tool Sprocket stopper (800404) as
  • wrench

Specs & torque values

  • 3 N·m
  • 10 N·m
  • 162N·m
