Procedure

  1. 4. Remove the auto tensioner by loosening the
  2. two bolts that secure it to the engine
  3. 5. Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt, and then
  4. remove the timing belt.
  5. <<B>> OIL PUMP SPROCKET REMOVAL
  6. 1. Remove the plug on the left side of the cylinder
  7. block.
  8. 2. Insert a Phillips screwdriver (shank diameter 8
  9. mm) through the plug hole to block the left
  10. counterbalance shaft.
  11. 3. Loosen the nut and then remove the oil pump
  12. sprocket.

  14. 1. Removal the crankshaft bolt and washer.
  15. <<D>>CRANKSHAFT SPROCKET REMOVAL
  16. 1. Set special tool Crankshaft sprocket puller
  17. (800399) as shown in the illustration.
  18. 2. Screw in the center bolt of the special tool to
  19. remove the crankshaft sprocket.
  20. <<E>> Balance Shaft Belt REMOVAL
