Procedure

  1. Loosen the two bolts securing the shaft lock plate and remove the plate from the shaft (groove). Then, push in the shaft all the way to the TURN position.
  2. Put a socket to the hexagonal end of the y shaft and turn the shaft with a ratchet handle 0 for turning. Bolt

  6. Using a filter wrench, remove the used filter.
  7. Clean the gasket of a new filter.
  8. Coat the gasket of a new filter with clean Goat gasket with . clean diesel fuel. diesel fuel.
  9. Clean the filter base. Install the new filter by hand. When the gasket contacts the base, tighten 3/4 to 1 turn more by hand. Do not use the filter wrench in order to avoid damaging the cartridge.
  10. Prime the fuel filter.
