Procedure
- Close drain cocks and plugs.
- Pour in a cleaning solution (non-corrosive to rubber and metals) in the cooling system, and operate the engine at 800 to 900 min-1 for about 15 minutes; then drain the cleaning solution.
- Close drain cocks and plugs.
- Pour in fresh water, and operate the engine at 800 to 900 min-1 for about 10 minutes.
- Repeat rinsing until the draining water becomes clear and clean.
