Before you start
- If the color of exhaust gas is abnormal, also conduct inspections of the turbocharger.
Procedure
- Check the turbocharger when the engine is cold and the compressor wheel is not rotating.
- Disconnect the pipe from the air inlet side.
- Hold the compressor wheel nut by hand and turn the wheel.
- Check for looseness and abnormal noise; replace the bearings if found.
