Before you start
- To drain oil or change oil filters, wear gloves; hot engine oil and parts may cause burns.
Procedure
- Place the oil receiving tray under the governor filter.
- Loosen the air vent plug and remove the drain plug; drain oil in the filter.
- Remove the oil pipe from the center bolt.
- Remove the center bolt and remove the case from the bracket; remove the used element.
- Put a new element in the case using the center bolt.
- Install the case to the filter bracket and tighten the center bolt.
- Install the oil pipe to the center bolt.
- Install the drain plug.
- Remove the air vent plug and fill the filter with engine oil.
- Reinstall the air vent plug.
