Before you start
- Do not touch fuel spray; high pressure can penetrate skin.
Procedure
- Install connector and dowel pin into spring cage.
- Tighten body retaining nut by 2-step method.
- Install needle valve shim, spring seat, needle valve spring, lower retainer, distance piece.
- Install nozzle tip and tighten nozzle retaining nut by 2-step method.
- Connect nozzle tester and press handle once per second.
- Read pressure at which injection begins; replace shim if out of standard.
