Procedure
- Drain lubrication system.
- Loosen cartridge counterclockwise with filter wrench.
- Discard used cartridge.
- Wipe filter head with clean rag.
- Apply light coat of oil to new cartridge gasket.
- Place cartridge on filter head and turn clockwise until hand-tight.
- Using filter wrench, turn additional 1 to 1-1/4 turns.
- Operate engine and check for leakage.
