Before you start
- Oil filter base and housing springs are under tension and can act as projectiles.
- The high pressure oil system operates at high temperature and pressure.
Procedure
- Place suitable container under oil drain plug and remove plug.
- Open oil drain valve and drain oil.
- Close oil drain valve and remove oil fill cap.
- Fill engine with proper lube oil to FULL mark on dipstick.
- Install oil fill cap and close battery access door.
