Military MEP MEP-804A — Installation of Ground Rod

Before you start
- Never start generator set unless properly grounded
Procedure
- Insert ground cable through slot on terminal marked GND
- Connect coupling to ground rod and screw in driving stud
- Drive ground rod until coupling is just above surface
- Remove driving stud and install another rod section
- Install another coupling and driving stud, drive down
- Repeat until ground rod driven eight feet or deeper
- Connect clamp and ground cable to ground rod
