Before you start
- Battery acid can cause burns; wear goggles and chemical gloves
Procedure
- Shut down generator set
- Open battery access door
- Inspect case, corrosion, connections, battery caps
- Remove battery caps
- Add distilled water to each cell as required
- Replace battery caps
- Close battery access door
