For the Mercury Marine MCM 4.3L / MCM 4.3L EFI, from the Mercury Marine service manual.
Procedure
- Note: Sterndrive unit does not have to be removed to grease coupler.
- Lubricate engine coupler splines through grease fitting with approximately 8-10 pumps of grease.
- Use Quicksilver Engine Coupler Spline Grease 92-816391A4 on coupler splines.
- Use Quicksilver 2-4-C Marine Lubricant on universal joints.
