Before you start
- Verify lifting means are adequate for the weight of the parts to be moved
Procedure
- Remove front cover
- Extract the rotor using a lifting device with soft ropes of adequate capacity
- Use a suitable puller to extract the bearing
- Heat the new bearing with a suitable magnetic device
- Wearing anti-scorch gloves, fit the bearing into its seat
