Before you start
- Never use liquids or water
- Compressed air on internal components may cause short circuits
Procedure
- Ensure alternator is de-energized and at room temperature
- Clean exterior with compressed air only
- Do not clean internal electric components with compressed air
- Refer to Table 5 for bearing lubrication specifications
