Mecc Alte — Check of residual voltage

Before you start
- Strictly observe polarity (+ to +, - to -)
Procedure
- With the generator stopped, remove the terminal box lid
- Connect two wires to a 12 Vdc battery with a 30 Ω in-series resistor
- Using Mecc Alte diagrams locate the + and - terminals of the electronic regulator
- Start the generator
- Momentarily apply the two wires to the terminals respecting polarity
- Check with a voltmeter that rated voltage is produced
