Lombardini — Assembly of injection pumps

Procedure
- Insert barrel into pump casing with fuel inlet hole aligned with feeding connection.
- Insert delivery valve, copper gasket, spring, washer, filler, O-ring; temporarily tighten delivery connection.
- Insert plunger with helical profile opposite sleeve pin into control sleeve groove.
- Complete pump assembly with plunger, control sleeve, upper washer, retaining ring, spring, secure with spring holder washer.
- Tighten delivery valve holder to 4.5 ÷ 5 kgm torque.
- Check control sleeve turns freely throughout full stroke.
- Secure control sleeve using pin screwed into pump housing.
