Leroy-Somer — Drying out windings in an oven

Procedure
- Dehydrate 8 hours in an oven at about 100 to 110 °C.
- Or blow hot air (fan heater) ensuring internal scavenging.
- New machine: insulation must be 10 megohms minimum when cold.
- Never power a machine below 1 megohm insulation.
