Before you start
- Secure the shaft extension key before no-load test without coupling.
Procedure
- Check that no nut, washer or foreign body has fallen into the winding.
- Position the terminal box seal correctly before closing the box.
- Rotate the motor at no load for 2 to 5 minutes.
- Check there is no abnormal noise.
- Check nameplate voltage and frequency; do not deviate more than +/-5% voltage, +/-1% frequency.
