Before you start

  • When disconnecting the cable from the battery, start with the negative terminal first. When connecting, start with the positive terminal first.
  • Never check battery charge by placing a metal object across the posts.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative terminal and positive terminal.
  2. Remove the battery holder.
  3. Remove the used battery.
  4. Replace the new battery.
  5. Tighten the battery holder.
  6. Connect the positive terminal.
  7. Connect the negative terminal.

  • Battery: 12 V, 52 AH or equivalent
