Browse Kubota generators & specs →

Before you start

  • Component damage hazard - Work area and surfaces must be clean and free of debris that could get into the hydraulic system and cause severe component damage
  • Bodily injury hazard - Spraying hydraulic oil can penetrate and burn skin. Loosen hydraulic connections very slowly to allow the oil pressure to dissipate gradually. Do not allow oil to squirt or spray.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the drive motor and plug them.
  2. Remove the drive motor mounting bolts.
  3. Guide the drive motor shaft out of the brake and then remove the drive motor.
