Before you start
- Crushing hazard. Keep hands away from block and moving parts.
Procedure
- Raise secondary boom and place 4x4x31 inch block.
- Raise primary boom end 7 feet off ground.
- Check each turntable bearing bolt torque in sequence to 190 foot-pounds (258 Nm).
- Remove block, lower booms.
- DC models: remove battery packs with forklift.
- Support drive chassis counterweight.
- Remove counterweight.
- Check bearing mounting bolts under chassis to 190 foot-pounds (258 Nm).
