Before you start
- Head gasket must be changed to a new one.
Procedure
- Remove the cylinder head (remove the cylinder head gasket completely).
- Bring the piston to top dead center; fasten fuse wires on piston top with grease.
- Bring piston to middle position, install cylinder head, tighten bolts to specification.
- Turn crankshaft until piston exceeds top dead center.
- Remove cylinder head and measure squeezed fuse wires for thickness.
