Before you start
- Do not clean spark plug with abrasive grit.
Procedure
- Clean area around base of plug before removing.
- Remove plug and check condition; replace if necessary.
- Check gap with wire feeler gauge; adjust to 0.76 mm (0.030 in.).
- Reinstall plug and tighten to 24.4/29.8 N-m (18/22 ft. lb.).
