Before you start
- Do not connect spark plug leads when cranking during storage.
Procedure
- Clean exterior surfaces of engine.
- Change oil and oil filter while engine is still warm from operation.
- Empty fuel system or treat gasoline with stabilizer; run engine 2-3 minutes.
- Remove spark plugs and add one tablespoon of engine oil into each spark plug hole; install plugs and ground leads.
- Crank engine two or three revolutions.
- Store engine in a clean, dry place.
