Before you start
- Running cover in Cold Weather position under normal conditions can damage engine.
Procedure
- Remove air cleaner cover; separate precleaner from paper element.
- Wash precleaner in warm water with detergent; rinse thoroughly; squeeze out excess (do not wring); air dry.
- Lightly oil precleaner with new engine oil; squeeze to distribute.
- Reinstall precleaner over paper element and secure cover.
