Before you start
- Paper element cannot be blown out with compressed air.
Procedure
- Loosen knobs and remove air cleaner cover.
- Remove precleaner from paper element.
- Replace or wash precleaner in warm water with detergent.
- Rinse and allow to air dry.
- Saturate precleaner with new engine oil; squeeze out excess oil.
- Reinstall precleaner over paper element.
- Reinstall air cleaner cover and secure with knobs.
