Procedure
- Unhook four retaining straps and remove upper blower housing and screen assembly.
- Remove precleaner from paper element.
- Wash precleaner in warm water with detergent; rinse; squeeze out excess water (do not wring); air dry.
- Saturate with new engine oil and squeeze out excess.
- Reinstall over paper element, outside retaining strap.
- Clean air cleaner base, housing, and screen of debris.
- Reinstall upper blower housing/screen assembly.
Specs & values
- Replace precleaner with Kohler Part No. 66 083 03-S when necessary.
