Before you start
- Hazardous voltage. Moving rotor.
Procedure
- Turn voltage and volts/Hz pots fully counterclockwise.
- Start generator; rotate voltage adjustment pot to desired output voltage.
- Rotate stability pot clockwise until light flicker is minimized.
- Adjust engine speed to cut-in frequency (56.3 Hz / 46.3 Hz).
- Rotate volts/Hz pot clockwise until voltage begins to drop.
- Readjust engine speed to normal (1800 rpm / 1500 rpm).
- Readjust stability and voltage pots; stop generator set.
