Before you start
- Do not wash or use pressurized air on the paper element.
Procedure
- Remove upper blower housing and screen assembly.
- Remove precleaner from paper element.
- Unhook retaining strap and remove paper element from base.
- Do not wash element or use pressurized air; install new element if dirty, bent, or damaged.
- Clean air cleaner base, housing, and screen.
- Install new paper element (66 083 01-S) and secure with retainer strap.
Specs & values
- Replace paper element every 100 hours (more often under dusty conditions).
