Before you start
- Do not wash the paper element or use pressurized air; this will damage it.
Procedure
- Unhook latches or loosen cover retaining knob and remove cover.
- Remove wing nut, element cover, and air cleaner element.
- Remove precleaner from paper element and service it.
- Do not wash element or use pressurized air; replace if dirty, bent, or damaged.
- Check rubber sleeve seal for damage or deterioration, replace as necessary.
- Reinstall paper element, precleaner, element cover, and wing nut.
- Reinstall air cleaner cover and secure.
