Before you start

  • The switch will not cause a transfer unless an event has initiated a transfer sequence.

Procedure

  1. An event occurs such as loss of the connected source, the start of a loaded exercise, or an operator starts a loaded test.
  2. The ATS executes time delays and signals the generator set engine to start.
  3. MANUAL TRANSFER is displayed and the Not-in-Auto LED flashes.
  4. Turn the keyswitch to the TRANSFER position and release.
  5. The load is transferred to the standby source, if available.
  6. When the preferred source returns or the exercise or test ends, turn the keyswitch to TRANSFER and release to transfer back.
