Before you start

  • The switch must not be removed from non-automatic switches in the field.

Procedure

  1. An event occurs such as loss of the connected source, loaded exercise start, or an operator starts a loaded test.
  2. The ATS executes time delays and signals the generator set engine to start.
  3. MANUAL TRANSFER is displayed and the Not-in-Auto LED flashes.
  4. Turn the keyswitch to the TRANSFER position and release it.
  5. The load is transferred to the standby source, if available.
  6. When the preferred source returns or the test ends, turn the keyswitch to TRANSFER and release to transfer back.
