Procedure
- Remove precleaner (if equipped), element cover seals, element cover, and element.
- Replace a dirty, bent, or damaged element with a new genuine Kohler element.
- Reinstall cleaned and oiled precleaner over paper element.
- Reinstall paper element, element cover, and seals.
- Install cover and wing nuts; tighten 1/2 to 1 full turn after contact.

- Do not wash paper element or use pressurized air
