Procedure
- After removing carburetor from engine, remove 4 capscrews and separate throttle body from lower carburetor body.
- Remove float pin, float and body gasket; remove fuel inlet needle and check for damage.
- Remove throttle plate retaining screw and lock washer, slip plate out, slide throttle shaft out; inspect bushing and shaft.
- Remove main fuel needle and inspect; blow out main fuel nozzle and clean venturi and fuel bowl areas.
- Do not remove choke plate or choke shaft unless loose or damaged.
