Kohler KD83V16 — Thermostat HT and housing removal and installation (SL 217)

Before you start

  • Replace all sealings.

Procedure

  1. Remove two screws 4 diametrically opposed.
  2. Place guiding rods in place of the two screws 4.
  3. Remove remaining screws 4 and screws 7.
  4. Remove thermostat housing 3.
  5. Remove guiding rods.
  6. Remove thermostats 1.
  7. Remove pipe 9 with flange 6.
  8. Reassemble pipe and flange with o-rings, position thermostats in housing.
  9. Place guiding rods, position housing, place screws, remove guiding rods, place remaining screws and tighten.
