Before you start
- Wrong engine control unit software on engine - engine is in an unstable, dangerous condition.
Procedure
- Disconnect the power supply between the battery and engine control unit.
- Shut off the fuel supply to the engine (device side).
- Disconnect the fuel lines from the engine control unit and drain the fuel.
- Carefully remove the plug connectors A700A.X1, A700B.X2, A700C.X3 and A700D.X4 with appropriate tools.
- The engine control unit can now be mechanically removed.
